Plate layout
Following the procedure described in section Worklist creation leads to a recommended standard plate layout.
A custom plate layout template can be created as show in the example below.

- Create a new project and submission. For example,
- Using the functionalities shown in the example below and described in section View and edit worklist, a Template can be created, saved as a worklist.

Shown samples barcodes may not be compatible with any kit!
Using the template for a new kit run
Use the worklist which was created previously as template for a new kit run.
The template, e.g. "Worklist 2024-08-01", may contain all plate runs of a kit, and is located for example in the submission "TEMPLATE_plate layout".Example: Quant 1000 kit, three plate runsClick Copy worklist to submission.
In the Copy worklist to submission window select a submission the template should be copied to.
Example: project "biocrates kit", submission "YYYY-MM-DD - kit plate ##"Click Copy worklist.
To the copied worklist, add study samples ("unknowns").
Click Insert and select "unknowns".Unknowns must be added to all plate runs of a worklist separately.
By using the functionality Insert, all well positions are kept.
Move wells on plate
Wells (samples) can be moved on a plate layout. Other samples will shift by keeping their order.
