Quantification

Processing kit data is performed in the Quantification module by the following steps:

  1. Upload raw data: Drop kit run MS data files into WebIDQ
  2. Integration | LC parts: Define integration windows and perform peak integration
  3. Calibration | LC parts: Check and adjust external calibration curves used for data quantification
  4. Integration | FIA parts: Define integration windows and perform integration
  5. Validation: Evaluate quality and performance of kit results

The quantification workflow guidance panel shows the integration, calibration, and validation status in the top right corner of the Quantification module.

Three colored statuses indicators are available:

  • Status white The step has yet to be performed
  • Status red The step must be performed again
  • Status blue The step is complete

Moving the mouse over the workflow guidance tool will display additional information:

Quantification status

  1. Integration windows
    Status white Define integration windows!
    Status blue Integration windows were defined.

  2. Integration
    Status white Integration required!
    Status red Integration windows were altered. Integration required!
    Status blue Integration was performed.

  3. Calibration (LC data only)
    Status white Calibration required!
    Status red Integration or calibration parameters were altered. Calibration required!
    Status blue Calibration was performed.

  4. Validation
    Status white Validation required!
    Status red Integration or calibration parameters were altered. Validation required!
    Status blue Validation was performed.
