Quantification

Processing of kit data is performed in the Quantification module by following these steps.

  1. Upload raw data: Drop MS data files from a kit run into WebIDQ
  2. Integration | LC part: Define integration windows and perform peak integration
  3. Calibration | LC part: External calibration of LC data
  4. Integration | FIA/FIA XL part: Define integration windows and perform integration
  5. Validation: Performance evaluation of a kit run

Quantification workflow guidance

The quantification workflow guidance shows the integration, calibration and validation status in the top right corner of the Quantification module. Three colored statuses are available: Status white Status red Status blue.

  • White indicates a step has yet to be performed
  • Red indicates a step must be performed again
  • Blue indicates that a step is complete

Moving the mouse over the workflow guidance tool will display additional information:

Quantification status

  1. Integration windows
    Status white Define integration windows!
    Status blue Integration windows were defined.

  2. Integration
    Status white Integration required!
    Status red Integration windows were altered. Integration required!
    Status blue Integration was performed.

  3. Calibration (LC data only)
    Status white Calibration required!
    Status red Integration or calibration parameters were altered. Calibration required!
    Status blue Calibration was performed.

  4. Validation
    Status white Validation required!
    Status red Integration or calibration parameters were altered. Validation required!
    Status blue Validation was performed.
